Save Staffs Moorlands Greenbelt

Land to the North of Uttoxeter Road, Blythe Bridge (near Catchems corner)

This planned development is not currently on the SMDC planning portal, the developers VERY POOR consultation closed on the 7th August.

NEXT STAGE? SMDC PLANNING CONSULTATION - WAITING FOR THIS TO OPEN.

When responding to this consultation its essential that you oppose, do not suggest "improvements".

This land is GREEN BELT buffer zone between Stoke City and Staffs Moorlands. This precious buffer is all that stops the Blythe Bridge village merging with Stoke City.

This land was recently purchased from the CO-OP by a development/investment consortium based in Warrington.

Initial proposals were for light industrial development to begin in 2030, however since the change in government the plans have now changed to 200 houses.

If BL-3 located just to the north of this site gets approval and is developed, these combined developments will result in a huge loss of Green Belt buffer between Staffs Moorland and Stoke-on-Trent authority.

A major one to watch, further updates will follow.

This development is very much in Staffs Moorlands.
